Chief Executive Officer – Dr. Jayaram Chigurupati
Dr. Jayaram was associated with recombinant proteins and biogenerics for the past eight years. An MBA from Cornell (1994) and a PhD in Biochemical Genetics (1988), Dr Jayaram has had a distinguished career both in science
and industry. Earlier, Jayaram has had a stint as Associate Consultant with The Wilkerson Group, New York City and as Technology Transfer Consultant at the Center of Advanced Technology Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. He was also a founder and Vice President of Viral Therapeutics, Inc, New York, where his responsibilities included development and marketing of recombinant proteins for therapeutic and diagnostic use.
Dr Jayaram was also the Executive Vice President of Emerging Businesses (Biotechnology, Oncology and Diagnostics) and International Branded Formulations Marketing at Dr Reddy's (RDY). He has been instrumental in establishing Dr Reddy’s presence in many emerging markets of the world. He was also the Managing Director of Zenovus Biotech (a wholly owned subsidiary of Dr. Reddy’s).
Director - Dr. Denis Broun
Dr. Denis Broun obtained his Masters in Biomathematics (1977) and Medical Doctor Degree (1981) from the University of Paris. He then specialized in Tropical Medicine from Institut Léon M'Ba, University of Paris, 1982.
He is also Diploma cum magna laude of the Paris Institute of Political Sciences, 1984.
Denis Broun is currently the Global Liason Coordinator and the Managing Director of MSH, Europe. He has an extensive background in donor coordination and more than 15 years of experience in public health. His previous positions as Program Manager and then as Director of Department of Resource Mobilization at WHO (1998 to 2000), Chief of Health and Special Advisor to the Executive Director at UNICEF (1996 and 1998), Health Financing Specialist and Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank (1991 and 1996) have involved inter-agency communication and coordination in fields ranging from infectious diseases to child health. Dr. Broun has also managed all aspects of health policy planning and development. He has extensive experience in project design and management. Dr. Broun has particular expertise in public/private partnerships and private sector collaboration, donor coordination, and has extensive international experience.
Director – Dr. Ranganatha Rao Adipudi
Dr. Ranganatha Rao is one of the senior-most practising genito-urinary surgeons (urologist) and professors in India. He did his M.B.B.S. in 1952 and later acquired the postgraduate degree in General Surgery in 1962 and M.Ch in 1969. He has been in teaching and clinical urology work from 1960, first as Assistant Professor and later as Professor and Head of the Department of Urology, Osmania University Medical College in Andhra Pradesh. After his retirement from government service in 1983, he continues to be active in urological work and participates in teaching postgraduate students.
Apart from organizing and acting as the Head of Department of Urology in Osmania Medical College and associated teaching hospitals, Dr. Rao also organized specialty teaching programs and helped train many urologists in the state. He has also performed the first kidney transplantation operation in the State in 1982 and the program continues today also. He evinced keen interest in the organization of similar urology units in the entire state by organizing seminars and workshops.
Dr. Rao participated actively in most of the national conferences in urology for the last 30 years, presenting scientific papers and publishing in reputed journals. He still actively participates in scientific activities. Dr. Rao has been on the Governing Council of the National Urological Society from 1978 to 1982, acted as its Secretary from 1982-1986, and President of the society in 1989.
Director - Professor Vithala R. Rao
Professor Vithala R. Rao has a Master’s in Sociology from University of Michigan (1962) and a Ph.D. in Applied Economics/ Marketing from Wharton School of Management, University of Pennsylvania (1970). Dr. Rao started his career as Assistant Professor of Marketing and Quantitative Methods at Johnson School of
Management, Cornell University in 1970 and became a Professor in 1977. Since 1991, Dr. Rao is the Deane W. Malott Professor of Management at Cornell. Prof. Rao teaches marketing strategy, marketing research, marketing models and brand management. He teaches at various foreign universities including ISB, Hyderabad. He also teaches in executive education programs in the U.S. and abroad.
Prof. Rao has consulted for several corporations in the US and abroad. He serves on the editorial boards of Marketing Science and Journal of Marketing Research. Prof. Rao has published in Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Management Science, Marketing Letters, Applied Economics, International Journal of Research in Marketing, and Marketing Science in the areas of conjoint analysis and multidimensional scaling for the analysis of consumer preferences and perceptions, pricing, market structure, bundling, and brand equity. He is the co-author of books, Applied Multidimensional Scaling, Decision Criteria for New Product Acceptance and Success, New Science of Marketing, and Analysis for Strategic Marketing.
Director - K. Ramakrishna Prasad
Mr. K. Ramakrishna Prasad joined the Company
as Director in October 2003 prior to which he
was a Director in Zenotech Laboratories Pvt.
Ltd. which got merged with the Company.
He has more than three decades of experience
in media and publishing industry. He has successfully
led a number of publications from their inception
to commercial success. He brings in rich experience
of handling the intricacies of the media and
publishing businesses.
Director - M. R. Vikram
Mr. Vikram has done his graduation in Science and Law. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Mr. Vikram is a partner in M.Anandam & Co., one of the reputed Chartered Accountants firm in the twin cities of Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Vikram is the trustee and treasurer of M.Venkatarangaiya Foundation, a leading voluntary organization doing pioneering work in literacy and in eradicating child labour in India. He was the earlier the Treasurer of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1991-94) and was also the Chairman of Managing Committee, Hyderabad Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Presently, he is one of the Paper Writer and Speaker in many conferences/seminars conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a regular speaker in conferences held by various management institutes, on topics of finance and management.
